Thanks for posting this. I can say that I am lucky enough to have one of the stores, Coqui Coqui located in my town. It is a beautiful shop and the prices are very reasonable…as it comes to perfume. And it is unique, especially for Mexico. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for commenting! It looks so beautiful, I’d love to see it some day. I haven’t been to Mexico!

Since tourism of any sort outside of the country will be unlikely until next year I plan to visit our very own little perfume destination, the Burren Perfumery. Small but lovely.

I actually have several of their fragrances, bought when we were in Ireland a few summers ago! We were very close to their location but on a long drive from one destination to another, so I didn’t impose a detour on the rest of the family.

It’s been a few years since I visited, last time with menfolk, so this year it’s a girls only trip. My daughter and two friends. I recently sampled their newest creation Wild Rose and I’m impressed to say the least. It may be on my Santa list this year. (Oh Lordy did I just mention the unmentionable?🙈)

My daughter loves Frond, and it has been a repeat purchase. Praise indeed.

I have that one! I’ll have to pull it out.

I like Frond as well. I bought Frond when hubby and I visited the Burren perfumery a few years ago. I would love to go back for sure. Love that part of Ireland.

I love the west of Ireland too.

I’m eager to visit it again, as we did a sort of counter-clockwise loop of Ireland by car and didn’t linger there. My great-grandfather was the chief engineer for either the West Clare or South Clare Railway, I can’t remember which. After he died of a heart attack, his widow bought Moore’s Hotel in Kilkee to support herself and their six children. My mother used to spend holidays there with her. So we visited Kilkee for a day on our drive down the coast, which was fun.

That’s very interesting. Surely gives you a good reason to revisit Kilkee and the greater county. My daughter was there just yesterday.

I would absolutely like to enjoy some perfume tourism right now! A visit to Grasse is on my bucket list and I want to go back to London and spend a day in the perfume section of Harrod’s!.
I’d be happy just to go to NYC and sniff perfumes at Saks and Bergdorf’s. I also want to go to Vegas just because there are tons of great perfume stores there and a big Guerlain boutique. I would be in heaven! I have no interest at all in gambling, but eating good food and sniffing perfumes are always at the top of my ‘most desired’ list! And it would be nice to see the Grand Canyon finally….

I’ve been to Las Vegas once, for a conference; then my husband flew out to join me for the weekend because it was our 25th anniversary and, as I told him, unlikely I’ll ever go again, lol! We saw the Beatles Love show with Cirque du Soleil, it was just wonderful. Had lunch at a couple of the most chi-chi restaurants, which makes them more affordable, and did the early bird menu at another — not hard because our bodies were still on East Coast time! I wasn’t chasing down perfume at that point, though, so didn’t seek out the stores. Maybe I’ll have to go back after all! And Cirque du Soleil is reopening, so I could see Beatles Love again, which I would totally do.
