Today is Saturday, January 25, and I’m in snowy New England! Flew up here with one of our daughters to visit my sisters and my niece’s new baby. She’s a cutie, and her sister is a darling. It is very nice to see the snow in the sun.
Here is the new addition to our family!
I brought with me a travel size of Jo Malone’s Ginger Biscuit, which has been perfect for hanging out with little children on a wintry day. I hope they associate me with that lovely warm scent!
Do you ever choose a scent on purpose to charm someone other than a romantic interest, lol?

Serenity Now Scents and Sensibilities 
Heaps of blessings on this new life. She’s cute for sure. The sun on the snow is always picturesque, but that’s enough for me, I don’t need the reality. We just had a quite ferocious storm pass over in the early hours and later morning of Friday. We are without power since then, thank everything for solid fuel stove as it’s also very cold here. It tried its best to snow last night. Luckily I have a gas hob so we’re not starving either. Major tree-fall all over the country, bringing down power lines. This week I got a decant of FM Rose & Cuir, just so I have some in my collection again. It is definitely a top 10 favorite, but I really don’t need any more full bottles. Continue to enjoy precious family time. It’s the best.

I may have been a Boy Scout in a previous lifetime. I always have batteries and candles to hand. We have had more power cuts in three years here than we had in the 17 years in our previous home.

I haven’t “liked” as how could I like what storm Eowyn has done? This side of the Pennines has been no more than “a bit blowy”, though it’s frozen solid this Sunday morning.
I hope the power gets back on asap.

Power is back as of 10:30 this morning. First thing I did was put the kettle on, much easier than boiling a saucepan of water for tea and coffee. It’s the little things😉

I do wear thing that DH has either bought me, always under guidance, or that he’s commented he likes. I admit I used to wear Poison to seduce him back in the day tee hee hee.
I’ve always been mindful about what I wear & just as importantly how I wear it. I don’t over spray & when working with patients I kept it down to under my clothing.
I think being “Auntie Biscuit” would be a beautiful thing

What a cutie! New babies are awesome. Just this week I wore Teo Cabanel Barkhane to my hair salon. I have been seeing the same stylist for almost 30 years. She enjoys perfume, her tastes run to woody/amber and slightly more “masculine” so I try to wear something on my visits that she will like. This one was no exception! It’s a small thing to do and always a topic of conversation. I used to go very simple and light when I was teaching preschool music; now I enjoy wearing whatever strikes my fancy. But Christine (my stylist) is the only person I pick for!
