Today is Friday, January 30, and I have just received the most amazing gift from one of my dearest, longest-lasting friends: a bottle of Guerlain’s Vanille Planifolia Extrait 21. Wow wow wow! It is so lavish, and lovely!
To be honest, this photo from my post last weekend about the Victor&Rolf couture exhibit suits this perfume perfectly. It is golden, warm, exotic, extravagant. Slightly botanical. I love it!!
So my question for you this week, dearest gentle readers (yes, I’ve renewed my addiction to “Bridgerton”), is to ask what unexpected, lovely fragrance gifts stand out in your mind?

Wow, that is a very special gift!! I’m sure it smells amazing. I want to sample it before buying.

That’s a pretty amazing gift! A long time ago, my good friends bought me a bottle of CK Euphoria. I didn’t know about it before, and it was love at first sniff! The lotion was sublime too. The current formulation is a poor shadow of the original!

Everyone knows not to buy me anything fragrant. My DH has bought me perfumes in the past but always asks what I’d like.
He has bought me cars in the past so can’t complain

Nobody who knows me would ever buy me perfume, unless they’re brave or foolhardy ☺️ But if anyone wanted to gift me a bottle of your Shalimar I would gratefully accept.
