Today is Friday, September 18, and we are back from our niece’s wedding! It was so much fun, and it was great to spend a lot of time with my extended family (this niece is my sister’s daughter). She was a truly beautiful bride, her groom is lovely, and the weather was great.

I wore the 100th anniversary Shalimar all weekend, and it was perfect for both the occasion and the season. It’s a shame that the new L’Heure Bleue apparently is not as successful. I haven’t tried it, have you?

Back in the South, it is still too hot (95 degrees!) for many fragrances, including Shalimar. I’ve been enjoying some Jo Malone offerings, like Silver Birch and Lavender.
