Welcome to the weekly Perfume Chat Room, perfumistas! I envision this chat room as a weekly drop-in spot online, where readers may ask questions, suggest fragrances, tell others their SOTD, comment on new releases or old favorites, and respond to each other. Today is Friday, October 16, and I will keep this very short as we leave for a beach holiday tomorrow morning! I’ll add more this weekend.

We love the South Carolina coast in October. The crowds are gone, the water is warm, the temps are in the cooler range we prefer, and the Lowcountry landscape glows in the autumn light. It is a marshy landscape on one side of the island we like to visit, and open ocean on the other. The marshes are full of bird life, so we’ll take binoculars.

I’ll also take some of my new discovery sets, since I won’t be distracted by garden and household tasks. It will be interesting to see which ones work well at the beach in autumn.
